Report Ads

Use the Report Ads feature in Ad Quality to take direct action against unwanted ad creatives. You can report misleading, offensive, or low-quality ads to the ad network directly from the Ad Quality Creatives and User Journey pages.

Report ads from the Creatives page

To report one or more ads, complete the following steps:

  1. Select the checkbox of each unwanted creative.
  2. From the toolbar that displays at the bottom of the screen with the number of creatives you’ve selected, click Copy to report.
  3. The creatives you click display in a report, organized by an ad network. To send a report, choose an ad source and then select Copy and mark reported

Note: A creative might be served by multiple ad sources. If you intend to report a creative, ensure that you’re reporting it for all applicable ad networks.

This process flags the selected creative as reported and copies the email template to your clipboard, which gives you the option to manually send the report through the client of your choice. A flag displays on the creative to indicate it has been reported, which enables internal tracking and follow-up actions.

    Report individual creatives

When selecting an individual ad, select Copy to Report in the upper right of the screen to report it to the ad network.

    Rules and Notifications pages

When a creative is reported, Ad Quality automatically creates a notification rule. If the same creative is detected again in your app, you’ll receive an email alert which gives you proactive control over ad content and user experience.

Note: Reporting ads can help to maintain brand safety, reduce churn, and ensure compliance with your content standards.

Reporting ads from the User Journey Page

    1. Check the box in the upper left corner of every creative you want to report, and a toolbar will appear at the bottom of the screen with the number of creatives you’ve selected. On the banner, click Report creatives.
    2. The creatives you selected will appear in a report template, divided by ad source. To send a report, select an ad source and add your point of contact’s email address. The report will be populated with creatives only from the selected ad source.
    3. When you click Send email, your email client will automatically open so you can send the report. Any time you review a reported ad, you’ll see a red badge with the time and date you reported it.
