Advance payments
With advance payments, you’re able to get a monthly advance on your ironSource Ads revenue, giving you greater control over your cash flow to help drive growth. This article outlines how prepayments work and how to start receiving advance payments.
Payment schedule
In a standard ad revenue payout, you receive your Unity Ads earnings according to your payment terms. For most accounts, this means you receive your monthly payout 60 days after the month ends.
With Advance Payments, you receive approximately 70% of your expected ad revenue payout by the 15th day of the current month or the earliest business day thereafter. On the 15th day of the following month, you’ll receive the remainder of your monthly ad revenue payout, minus a 2% service fee. This fee comes from the advanced payment amount, not from your overall monthly earnings.
Example of Advance Payment schedule
Refer to the following table for an example of the Advance Payments schedule for a publisher who generates a $1000 payout:

Requesting access
ironSource Ads determines eligibility for enrolling in the Advance Payment program on a case-by-case basis. When you request access, the Advance Payment team will review your account history to determine your eligibility based on various factors, including past performance and historical payouts.
To request Advance Payments, ensure you fulfill the following requirements:
- Ensure your account doesn’t have any unpaid User Acquisition invoices
- Use ironSource Ads Monetization services for at least three consecutive months
- Earn a monthly earnings payout of at least $400.
If you meet the requirements, continue with the following:
- Go to the Publishers Advanced Payment registration page and review the agreement to participate in the Advance Payment program.
- Select the networks for which you want to submit the registration request. Choose one of the following:
- Unity Ads and IronSource Ads: Request Advance Payments of your earnings from both networks.
- ironSource Ads only: Request Advance Payments of only your Unity Ads earnings.
- Select the confirmation checkbox next to I agree to participate in the Advance Payments program subject to the terms above to agree to the program terms.
- Select Submit.
After you submit your terms agreement, our Advance Payments team will review your account to determine if you’re eligible to participate in the payment program. You’ll be notified of their eligibility decision by email.
Cancel Advance Payments participation
If you’d like to stop receiving Advance Payments of your earnings payout at any time, you can do so by contacting your account manager or reaching out to advancepayments@unity3d.com.
